It's not about the food review — it's about the vibe. And the vibe is
pure Sunset Beach. Grab a shrimp basket, get a lounge chair, put your
feet in the Gulf, and just BE there. Guests at Funshine Sunset Beach can
walk down the beach to get here — about half a mile of pure Florida
magic. Caddy's is also a true community survivor — they kept going
through Hurricane Helene and we are so happy they're back! 🌊 |

Ka'Tiki — Treasure Island

One of the first places to reopen after Hurricane Helene — with locals
showing up with shovels to help dig them out. That says everything about
this place and this community. A perfect mix of locals and tourists,
live music at night and weekends, reasonably priced bar food, and a
dog-friendly patio. A true Sunset Beach institution. 🐾🌅 |

Ricky T's Bar & Grille — Treasure Island

Ask any local where to go and Ricky T's is almost always the first
answer. Outstanding live music every single day, a huge menu, and always

Oyster Shuckers — St. Pete Beach
📍 650 Corey Ave, St. Pete Beach
A proper local's bar where the barstools are full of regulars. Evan's
go-to is the Corey Avenue burger with hand cut fries. I love the chicken
sandwich, tostada nachos, and the shrimp taco lunch special. Insider
tip: ask for the chargrilled oysters with garlic and parmesan — not on
the menu but they'll make it for you and it is outstanding. 🦪 |

Middle Grounds Grill — Treasure Island

When you want a proper sit-down dinner, Middle Grounds delivers. Famous
for their grouper — but the filet is my personal favorite. Sophisticated
atmosphere, excellent service, and a great story behind the restaurant.
Reservations recommended, though Evan and I have had luck walking in at
the bar. Don't miss the early bird menu 4:30–5:30pm for great pricing!

Live blues music every single day, a gorgeous shaded patio, and food
that is genuinely outstanding. Evan swears by the Torpedo sandwich
(shrimp and scallops) and I am devoted to the jambalaya. Wednesday

Outstanding Northern Italian in a wonderfully retro setting. The pink
sauce is legendary, the cosmos are excellent, and the limoncello cake is
not optional. On weekends it becomes a piano bar with a crooner — call

Pool deck cocktails at The Saint Hotel. We planned one drink and stayed
for hours — the bartender was one of the friendliest we've ever

My birthday spot! Trendy, creative Mexican in downtown St. Pete. The
birria is outstanding, the Hawaiian-style Korean Fried Chicken sounds
