Funshine Flamingo's Nest isn't a hotel room or a condo unit — it's a beautifully renovated private guest house tucked behind the main house, with its own private entrance, fenced yard, and completely separate living space. You have your own little corner of Largo that's entirely yours. 🦩

The bedroom features a queen-size Sleep Number adjustable bed — head and foot both adjust so you can find your perfect position for sleeping, reading, or lounging. Not your average rental mattress. Your back will thank you. The fully equipped kitchen has custom epoxy countertops, brand new appliances including an air fryer, and everything you need to cook in and eat well. The dedicated workspace with garden views is genuinely one of the nicest places to open a laptop you'll ever find.

The charming living area is filled with flamingo-chic decor and original art from local Tampa Bay artists — playful, colorful, and very Florida. This is the kind of place that makes you smile the moment you walk in. And yes, the cocktail shaker is included. You've earned it. 🍸

Lake Villa Park is literally one block away — a lovely spot for your dog's daily stroll. We also leave a little welcome package for your pup on arrival. 🐾

📍 The Location

Flamingo's Nest is centrally located between everything — just 15 minutes from Clearwater Beach, Indian Shores, and Madeira Beach. Close enough to spend a day on the Gulf whenever you want, but far enough away that you're not paying resort prices or fighting for parking. The Pinellas Trail is easily accessible for biking and walking adventures, and Largo Central Park and Taylor Park are both nearby for outdoor escapes.

This is a genuine Old Florida neighborhood — small homes where neighbors have lived for decades and actually know each other's names. It's peaceful, friendly, and completely unpretentious. Evan's great grandmother lived two doors down, and he's been coming to this neighborhood since he was a kid. He lived in the front house for 20 years and I lived there for 8 — so when we say we know this neighborhood, we really mean it. We know the best spots to eat, drink, and explore, and we love sharing them. 😄

🔑 Guest Access

The guest house is completely yours — private entrance, private fenced yard, and dedicated parking for up to 2 vehicles. A long-term tenant lives in the main house at the front of the property along with their two dogs. The yards are fully separated and fenced so pets won't interact, though occasional barking is possible as it is in any friendly residential neighborhood! You'll enter through a gated entry and follow a short, well-lit 100-foot path to the guest house. Additional pathway lighting has been installed for nighttime visibility. Please reach out before booking if you have any questions about the layout — we're always happy to walk you through it!

📋 Other Details

• 🐾 Pet policy: Well-behaved dogs are welcome! $100 per dog per stay + refundable $250 deposit collected after booking. The deposit is returned after checkout provided the home is in good condition and all pet waste is removed.
• 🚐 RV/boat parking: A designated space is available. Electrical hook-up offered for an additional fee — please inquire at least 7 days before arrival.
• 🚗 Parking: Off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles included.
• 📅 Extended stays: Snowbirds, remote workers, and longer-stay guests are very welcome! Contact us before booking for special mid-term rates on stays of 28+ days.
• 📋 Guests are required to sign a rental agreement and provide ID prior to receiving access details.
